Worth Reading...

Successful AllotmentsThis small book is fantastic value for money, and packs a lot of information and ideas into a few pages. Helpful to inspire you to take on the challenge of a new overgrown plot.

Allotments are now increasingly popular with a younger audience and with families who want to try growing their own organic produce. Here we show you how to go about finding an allotment, what to grow, how to maintain interest and get the most benefit from being an allotment holder. No previous gardening experience is assumed and everything is presented in a simple, step-by-step style. Successful Allotments is endorsed by the HDRA and the Soil Association, so you know you can trust all the organic advice.

Waiting List

Weaither IconPlease note that we currently have a waiting list of 9 people. Due to the nature of plot management it is impossible for us to give a time scale as to when a plot will become available.

An increasing interest in allotments nationwide is reflected by the fact that we have an equally increasing number of people seeking a plot at Werneth. Please do not be put off from applying by having to wait since plots can sometimes become available at very short notice. Requests to be added to the waiting list should be addressed to the Secretary.
